Kalpataru Projects hits record high on Rs 2,263-cr order win

The company bagged orders worth Rs 1,564 crore in India and overseas markets in transmission and distribution (T&D bussines). It also bagged orders worth at Rs 458 crore for water business and orders in B&F business stood at Rs 241 crore.

Manish Mohnot, MD & CEO, Kalpataru Projects International, said, ?The T&D business continues to witness strong traction in terms of both order inflows and tender pipeline. We expect the T&D business to be significant growth driver for KPIL in coming years. Additionally, these T&D orders have streng then our order book in India, Latin America, Africa and Sweden.

We continue to focus on strategic orders wins within our B&F and water business with a focus to improve our market presence and deliversustainable growth in these businesses. Our YTD FY24 order inflows stands at Rs 14,441 crores, providing improved visibility for future growth.?

Kalpataru Projects International (formerly known as Kalpataru Power Transmission) is a leading player in the domestic transmission and distribution (T&D) sector. The company undertakes turnkey contracts for setting up transmission lines and substations for extra-high-voltage power transmission. Over the years, it has diversified into civil contracts, railways, and oil and gas pipeline construction.

The company?s consolidated net profit declined 8% to Rs 90 crore on 19% increase in net sales to Rs 4,518 crore in Q2 FY24 over Q2 FY23.

The scrip hit an all-time high of Rs 723.50 in intraday today on the BSE.
