Aurobindo Pharma Ltd consolidated sales up 4.05% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit rose by 12.07%

Aurobindo Pharma Ltd share price gained 1.87% to Rs 1613.4 after the company's net profit registered a growth of 12.07% to Rs 1032.03 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 4.05% to Rs 9105.82 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Pharmaceuticals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 24.82 lakh crore, gaining 5.15%. It has marginally improved by 0.66% over last one week and heading higher by 11.72% in last one month while the market capitalization of Aurobindo Pharma Ltd has inched up 1.42% and 9.12% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Aurobindo Pharma Ltd stood at Rs 1515.09 crore in Q2 FY26, expanding by 25.55% year-on-year, and jumping 17.39% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 1617 crore, rising 7.95% YoY and declining 1.16% sequentially. Total expenses posted a minor rise of 2.34% to Rs 7756.11 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 2894.4 crore, going up by 15.53% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 1480.15 crore, improving by 7.73% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations posted a slight growth of 9.31% to Rs 31378.13 crore, while net profit grew slightly 9.93% to Rs 3483.57 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 541238% to Rs 5960.94 crore, and PBT expanded by 15.67% to Rs 5066.29 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 3924.62 crore in FY26, as against Rs 2434.52 crore in FY25. Aurobindo Pharma Ltd jumped 45.18% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.20% during the same period.
