JSW Steel Ltd gained 1.42% today to trade at Rs 1203.8. The BSE Metal index is up 0.08% to quote at 36752.48. The index is down 11.14 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, APL Apollo Tubes Ltd increased 0.94% and Jindal Steel Ltd added 0.8% on the day. The BSE Metal index went up 7.18 % over last one year compared to the 13.33% fall in benchmark SENSEX.

JSW Steel Ltd has lost 5.95% over last one month compared to 11.14% fall in BSE Metal index and 1.23% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 2855 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 3.28 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 1350.3 on 27 Aug 2026.
