Nifty October futures trade at a premium

The Nifty November 2026 futures was at 22,775.30 , a premium of 76.45 points compared with the Nifty's closing of 22,698.85 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index posted modest losses of 50.90 points or 0.22% to settle at 22,698.85.

The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, inched lower 0.96% at 16.25

On the options front, maximum call open interest (OI) of 1.15 lakh contracts was seen at the 24000 strike price. Maximum put OI of 89033.0 contracts was seen at 20050 strike price.

HDFC Bank Ltd, Reliance Industries Ltd and Infosys Ltd and were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

HDFC Bank Ltd November 2026 futures closed at 687.6 , compared with spot closing price of 685.3.

Reliance Industries Ltd November 2026 futures closed at 1163.8 , compared with spot closing price of 1158.0.

Infosys Ltd November 2026 futures closed at 1158.0 , compared with spot closing price of 1123.15.

The November 2026 F&O contracts expires on 23 November 2026.
