Nifty October futures trade at a premium

The Nifty November 2026 futures was at 22,889.80 , a premium of 136.60 points compared with the Nifty's closing of 22,753.20 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index jumped 153.20 points or 0.68% to settle at 22,753.20.

The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, ticked up 1.78% at 17.16

On the options front, maximum call open interest (OI) of 90405.0 contracts was seen at the 23000 strike price. Maximum put OI of 74336.0 contracts was seen at 22500 strike price.

HDFC Bank Ltd, Reliance Industries Ltd and HDFC Bank Ltd and were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

HDFC Bank Ltd November 2026 futures closed at 692.95 , compared with spot closing price of 688.05.

Reliance Industries Ltd November 2026 futures closed at 1207.0 , compared with spot closing price of 1201.8.

HDFC Bank Ltd October 2026 futures closed at 1201.8 , compared with spot closing price of 688.05.

The November 2026 F&O contracts expires on 23 November 2026.
