MCX Evening Update: Silver sparkles as precious metals stay well supported

Precious metals are soaring on MCX today. MCX Gold futures are trading at Rs 163088 per 10 grams, up 1.23% on the day. Overall price action has been rangebound for the counter. MCX Silver futures have zoomed impressively after a strong open and currently trade at Rs 272539 per kg, up 2.72% on the day. The counter hit a high near Rs 276500 per kg before pulling back a little in evening trades.
