MCX Evening Update: Precious metals dip, Silver tumbles more than 4%

MCX Gold and Silver have cracked lower today amid weak global cues. Gold futures are trading at Rs 159300 per 10 grams, down 1.14% on the day after breaking under Rs 159000 per 10 grams in intraday moves. MCX Silver futures lost 4.15% to trade at Rs 267200 per kg. Selling intensified in afternoon after the counter broke under Rs 270000 per kg.
