Copper near two-week low

Copper futures turned lower, testing lowest in nearly two weeks as overall mood remained subdued. COMEX Copper futures are currently trading at $4.42 per pound, down half a percent on the day. Equities were mixed today but Copper was sluggish and is down around 1.60% so far this week. In Asia, China's Shanghai Composite index added 0.10% to hit fresh decade high. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index eased 0.24%. Japanese Nikkei average fell 0.65%. European stocks see lax moves. The US stocks turned lower yesterday with Nasdaq sliding 0.70%. The S&P 500 shed 0.2% while Dow edged up marginally.
