Crude Oil sharply higher, Natural Gas up 1.56%

MCX Crude Oil futures are trading with strong gains today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Nov-26 contract is sharply higher by 2.70% at Rs 9754 per barrel. US equities are trading in positive territory with Dow Jones Industrial Average is edging higher by 0.27% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 9783 per barrel today and have seen a sharp increase of 9.09% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is gaining for third consecutive session. The counter was up 0.64% in the day session till 6.00 PM.

MCX Natural Gas is substantially higher by 1.56% at Rs 293 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 291-296 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter eased by 0.46%.

Crude Oil has risen around 2.01% in the last one week while Natural Gas has crashed 8.91%.
